Here are some ways you can get involved and make a difference right away.

Bookmark LHON.org. Make this site your first stop and main destination for learning more about all things related to LHON.

Follow us on social media, especially our LHON Global Facebook page, which is the most active LHON group. Also, join topic-specific LHON groups that pertain to or are of interest to you. These Facebook groups are a great way to stay current with updates and connect with others in the LHON community. They are private groups that are a safe place to ask questions and make connections.

Register in the Contact List to receive news from LHON Collective such as upcoming Zoom Connect events and conferences, as well as research updates and clinical trial opportunities when available.

Share your experiences by participating in our LHON medical registry. The questions answered today could lead to the discoveries of tomorrow. For more information, go to: LHON.RARE-X.org.

Participate as a Volunteer, Fundraise, Advocate, and more. There are so many ways to help out. Whether it’s participating in a Zoom Connect event, assisting with our programs, donating, fundraising, writing a blog post, or amplifying our messages on social media. It’s all important. It’s rewarding. It’s appreciated. And, it all makes a BIG difference in supporting the LHON community and helping to find a cure.
