Fundraise for LHON

Help us fund research and support for LHON. It takes us all working together to raise funds for cutting-edge science to benefit LHON. All donations help us support those affected by LHON and get us closer to a cure for our rare disease.

Successful Fundraising Event Examples

Dinners in the Dark were hosted in Arizona and Minnesota by Jessica Loomer and Jennifer Malecha that each raised from $5,000 to $30,000.

 

Shane Stewart raised about $50,000 by putting on a Birdies for the Blind golf tournament each year for several years.

Jeremy Poincenot and his friends created an annual bike ride to support LHON research called C.U.R.E. (Cycling Under Reduced Eyesight). In their first year, they raised $3,000. Each year the ride got larger, and over 10 years the C.U.R.E. Ride​ cumulatively raised more than $300,000 for LHON.
